  • Anti-Authoritarian Reports
By thatgreenunionguy | 12:36 AM UTC, Thu December 04, 2025

The following reports (organized alphabetically by title) frequently feature useful suggestions on how to resist authoritarianism. I don't necessarily agree with everything they write or their overall political orientation, but I share broad agreement with their opposition to anti-democratic political tendencies:

  • Civil Resistance Tactics in the 21st Century: Report and Webinar - commonslibrary.org/civil-resistance-tactics-in-the-21st-century/
  • Do Protests Matter? New Study Examines How Protests Bring About Change - www.asanet.org/for-press/press-releases/do-protests-matter-new-study-examines-how-protests-bring-about-change/
  • The Role of Power in Nonviolent Struggle - www.nonviolent-conflict.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/TheRoleofPowerinNonviolentStruggle-English.pdf (The Consent Theory of Power / Inverted Pyramid)
  • Social Movements 1768-2004 - voidnetwork.gr/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Social-Movements-1768-2004-by-Charles-Tilly.pdf

Note: This is work in progress. links to additional relevant bloggers will be added when I encounter them. If you have suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me (link, below, in the footer).
