Letter from Judi Bari to the IWW member Jess Grant - ca January 1990

Dear Jess,

Sure you can sing "Aristocracy Forever"; I'm going to submit it to the I(ndustrial) W(orker) for the next issue.

I'm also enclosing a statement from the I(international) W(oodworkers of) A(merica)[1] workers. Actually, I ghost wrote it, after interviewing them for hours, but the very fact that millworkers are willing to put their name on something written by an Earth First!er is pretty amazing. It's long, but please read it anyway.

We'll let you know about the PCB hearing. When I told Treva (Vandenbosch) your offer. she was impressed. You just don't get that kind of support from the IWA.

Judi

Note:

[1] The name was changed to "International Woodworkers Association" before it ultimately merged with the International Association of Machinists following Bari's death in 1997.
